Our fist school partner is AV Education Society, Bangalore.
Started in 1968 by Ambuja Venkatraman, the school has 1047 students, from kindergarten up to the 10th standard.

In 2004, after a ‘soul searching audit’ the board of the AV Education Society adopted the WIPRO-Whole School Transformation Project. They realized that the first thing that had to be changed
was the library.

In July 2005, Hippocampus transformed the AV school library.
The walls became more cheerful, and the shelves were full of books to read and enjoy. Hippocampus added 1,600 titles to the school library, and revamped the library management system. Suddenly,
this library became a place where students loved to spend time. Today, AV Education Society is a full fledged school partner,
sharing the Hippocampus dream of making ‘every child a reader’.
